It's a gathering place of island residents and visitors with convenient facilities for the family.
Hazards
Swift currents, strong riptides and high wind and surf may be present at any time of year. Offshore reef can be especially dangerous. Shorebreak and with steep drop-off at shoreline.
Topography
Sandy beach with offshore reef. Often gets strong winds, particularly in the afternoon.
Not Good For
Snorkeling - water gets cloudy from nearby runoff.
