Located in a marine life reserve, this beach offers an abundance of fish and coral formations for snorkelers. When conditions are right, the bay can offer a world-class surf break. Fed by the Honolua stream, water visibility varies. Roadside parking. Some facilities.

Cool Because
As part of the Mokuleia Marine Life Conservation District, fishing and spearing are illegal, leaving a multitude of fish and sea life for snorkelers to observe.
Hazards
Possible strong currents and seasonally high surf with dangerous waves that can break on rocks.
Topography
A small, sand beach susceptible to variable ocean conditions. Rocky shoreline. Water can be murky, clearing further from shore. Underwater springs make ocean water colder than other areas.
Not Good For
Fishing - it is illegal to fish or spear for fish in this reserve.
