Oneloa's expanse of golden sand stretches along Makena State Park's remote coastline, providing a haven for beachgoers seeking a piece of paradise. It's considered one of Maui's best beaches. Parking. Temporary restrooms.

Big, undeveloped beach in remote location.
Hazards
Swift currents, strong riptides and high surf may be present at any time of year. Dangerous shorebreak with severe drop-off close to shore.
Topography
Long, sandy beach, nearly 2/3 of a mile long with steep shoreline and underwater reef. Frequent afternoon cloud cover.
Not Good For
Shorebreak makes surfing and bodyboarding for experts only.
